How can i get rid of shingle scars?

well i had shingles wen i was like 9 years old. i never itched it and never picked at it. And im 17 now and i still have that ugly scar. It's on my thigh and i was recently searching about the scars but the sites i looked at said shingles dont leave scars but whatever i just want to no how i can get rid of them? Anything that isnt like surgery..How can i get rid of shingle scars?
When my bf was like 14 he had shingles really bad along with some other things. He has the scars from them all down his shoulders and back, it even changed the color of his lips in some areas. Well anyways depending on how sever the scars are you could try a scar cream like bioskincare. I heard some good stuff about that one.There are also some creams at walmart that might work too. His scars are too severe and would need surgery to fix. Depending on how bad it is just treat it as a regular scar. Well Good luck.
