Do snakebite piercing leave scars when you take them out?

My mom said the reason I can't get them is because when I take them out it's going to leave a huge scar on my lip. I said it won't since it's not through my lip.

i had lower snakebites done and they didn't scar at all,but i do have two tiny little holes leftover
hi i still have mine in but have friends tht have taken thiers out a few have tiny lil white scars jus under thier lip but you really have to look to see them an others have no marks at all i guess it all depends on your skin and how thick you have your rings/labrets but if they did scar you would only have a tiny lil mark under your lip wich will probs fade after a while
Don't for one minute think that you can come out of a piercing scar free. I had my bellybutton, eyebrow, and nose done. All have horrible scars that I have to cover up with makeup each day.





There will be an indention wherever the piercing is when you take it out. So not worth it.
Yes and no...it depends on the person and how long you have had them for. I have friends who have taken their out after a few year and have no scar what so ever and other who do.

i dont think it leaves scars. My aunt is getting them and she said it wont leave any marks after you take them out because thats all tissue of w.e

Yes, they do. They leave scars where the holes would be, though they are only really visible when you're standing close to someone.
it's not going to leave a ';huge'; scar. no more than any piercing ..... just a couple little holes which will become tiny dots - big deal. besides you could avoid any scar issue by not taking them out in the first place.
