How do I get rid of my acne scars?

I have some red dots on my forhead and on both of my cheeks from pimples I have popped over the past few years. How do I get rid of the red dots? and how do I get rid of the dry skin around my nose? I tried rubbing vasoline on it and i've tried all sorts of lotions. When I use face wash I always make sure I use face cleaner with moisturizers in it.How do I get rid of my acne scars?

Are they scars or only pigmentation?

Bleach the skin-

Bleaching

What about bleaching of the skin discoloration? Here we have to address two concerns:

* Stopping formation of new melanocytes at the pigmented spot

* Removing the existing color on the pigmented spot.

Scientists have found that an enzyme called tyrosinase activates the production of melanin. This enzyme activity must be stopped on the discolored spot so that more melanin is not formed there. The common bleaching agents that help to stop formation of new melanin, are discussed below.

Currently the US FDA recognizes only hydroquinone as a bleaching agent. Other ingredients used in bleaching creams are called brighteners, lighteners, etc. Some of the common ingredients that can be used to stop further melanin getting produced are hydroquinone, kojic acid, and azelaic acid. Research is being conducted on many other molecules and some of them are getting incorporated in bleaching formulations.

The second problem, as we said is to remove the existing excess melanin. This is done by exfoliating the skin and bringing fresh skin in its place. For that AHAs and tretinoin are commonly used.

You should consult your doctor and use a formulation that will not only remove the existing color, but also stop further color getting added. There are many formulations available and your doctor is the best person to address this. Take care that you don't use any product that irritates your skin and also avoid application on normal skin. http://www.doctorgoodskin.com/ds/acne/
Try some whitening creams or those creams that minimize the spots on your skin. You can also use bleaching soaps. For some extra moisture on your nose, remember rule of thumb in facial care: cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Do this every night and every morning before you get out of the house and before you go to bed. Use moisturizers with SPFs 15-20 so that the harsh rays of the sun won't dry your skin even further. Also try some petroleum jelly.

good luck
Maderma for skin ( you can get it at wal-mart ) it worked for my friend and its allot cheaper than a facial peel, or skin resurfacing from a dermatoligist!
cleansing, toning, and moisturizing is a good solution,,but aside from that u have to have an effective treatment plan to control break outs and to clear off acne.fruit based peels can help.the micro dermbrasion thou rather expensive can really help u with ur acne scars especially if its deep scars,,go to a certified and trusted derma who can assess ur skin and help u.it may not really be that bad after all..

with ur dry skin around ur nose,, correct me if im wrong,, but i dont think u really have a dry skin but instead u have an oily skin,,ur experiencing dry skin around ur nose coz ur using a product not suitable for ur skin type.depletes ur skin of moisture...

dont use vaseline petroleum jelly,,its too thick for ur skin.use it only if its extremely cold, winter for example.and lastly u dont need a facelift.. ure 17,, and young..lol
Try a face lift
Have you tried to google your question?
Vitamin E (the little jelly-bean-like ones) can help heal scars.
