What would you recommend for reducing scars quickly?

I'm using cocoa butter at the moment, and although it's working, it's working really really slowly. I was wondering if anyone had tried something like bio-oil or palmers cocoa butter formula scar serum that worked well.

anyway, if you know of anything i could use to help fade this scar quickly, it would be REALLY appreciated!

thanks in advance =]What would you recommend for reducing scars quickly?
Vitamin E cream, it works well, but you have to use it everyday. What would you recommend for reducing scars quickly?
Hmmm...theres nothing you can do to help make a scar dissapear quickly. It takes time as it is the rebuilding of the scar tissue.

I have tried bio-oil and it is really good, but it takes time to see results. If you really need to get rid of the scar quickly though try paying for a skin peel.
i am using bio-oil on my tummy tuck scar and it worked really well- also Boots do a scar serum which has been excellent and on special offer at the mo.
Let's get one thing straight; Nobody's perfect. Everyone has zits. I KNOW you've heard it before, but its true. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for beauty tips, and self-esteem builders. It's generally for young girls, but can help anyone really.

The best step against zits is PREVENTION. Wear a foundation with lots of water, and don't prop your chin up - otherwise your asking for chin zits.

Are a you vegetarian? sometimes people get zits because they are or aren't vegetarians.

ProActive works for some people, but not for others. If I were you, I'd stick with washing my face once in the morning, once at night, and maybe using an astringent every other day. If you have pimples, dab a bit of toothpaste on honey on them, but do not use as a mask!

Your regular doctor can generally help. A skin doctor doesn't know as much about your med. history.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.
A and D ointment works well. Basically it helps your skin heal and regenerate itself with the vitamins in it. I use that along with sunblock on my sons scar cuz it's right on his forehead. If that doesn't help then I would try palmers for scars, their stuff is always good.
My sis had a bad scar on her calf, she used bio oil. She swears by it..
bio oil i used to use it for my chickenpox scars. works quickly.
Bio Oil is meant to be really good on scars and stratch marks!

well i ues a mix of bio - oil, palmer cocca butter and astral
bio oil lol
Bio-Oil is supposed to be good. Check with your chemist.
Coco Butter and Bakeing soda microdermabraisian.

Your skin only regenerates so quickly sorry.

But in three years it could be unnoticable
Anything with Vit E. We used Vit. E oil (poked a whole in a gel vitamin pill) on a scar after ACL surgery. Can't see the scar at all. Thing is, everything is going to take time. The skin has to shed and renew. It's a slow process.

Good luck.
Aloe vera.Available in chemists or if you have the actual plant just use some of the sap.
Try lanolin. It is a natural product readily available in various forms from the chemists
Vit E is great but so is Shea butter. It reduces scarring, dark spots and blemishes. It's wonderful!
depends what the scars are like, no7 protect and perfect body lotion has helped my scars on my legs, also fade out cream works really well on dark scars. Bio-oil did nothing for me neither did cocoa butter scar serum. is it possible the cocoa butter isn't working and time is just helping them fade?
vitamin E

evryday
