Do not use anything without first consulting your child's pediatrician! That's a very sensitive area down there. The last thing you need to do is go slathering on creams that may not be appropriate.

*Do not use mederma without first speaking to your pediatrician. The website says ';for children 2 and older';.
neosporin or any moisturizing cream also any Powerer
I would ask your doctor. But neosporin works pretty well.

Hope this helps! :)
Vitamin E
neosporin
I don't know how old the baby is, but if 3+ months, neosporin is what I used (with Dr. seal of approval) when any diaper rash became severe. Also, washing the diaper area with soap after every poop helps to keep bacteria off the wounds so that they can heal. Use the neosporin after cleansing and before bed. I mixed it with A%26amp;D before sleep periods to give healing and protection--worked like a charm. Good luck!
Therapy. Relax.
