Can putting coverup on my scars on my face affect how they heal?

car accident scars on my face and its been about 7 months since the accident. i have been applying mederma like crazy and i guess it is done doing its work by making them less noticeable but not all the way. if i put COVERGIRL cover up on my scars, will that affect them on how they heal?Can putting coverup on my scars on my face affect how they heal?
No...if you do not have open wounds on your face and they are completely healed, the cover up will not affect them. I had some bad burns on my hand almost 3 years ago and also used mederma, but also used Palmer's cocoa butter...the cocoa butter really seemed to help keep the scars moisturized while the maderma did it's work.Can putting coverup on my scars on my face affect how they heal?
It shouldn't affect them, but you might put vitamin A %26amp; E on them. Open up the softgel tab, and dab it onto the scar. When I had 2 moles on my face removed, the doctor told me that would help.
