ok, so I'm going back to school in a couple of days and I want to get this pimple off of my face, since I want to have great first impressions. I tried putting ice on it, it didn't work. I tried toothpaste, made it more worse! And it kinda reduced when I tried the salt and the warm water treatment. Please help me how to get rid of pimples and acne scars fast and naturally.
P.S. Don't answer if you are just going to be mean. How do I get rid of pimples and acne scars fast?
Never had pimples but one of my sis does...dont wash your face with warm or hot water it opens up your pores...wash it with cold cold water only...to hide that zit in your face theres a concealer that can cure while it covers... Want to camouflage those blemishes? You need a good acne concealer. Luckily, you don't have to look too hard or spend too much for a decent makeup concealer. In fact, you can find them at many discount chains, drug stores, even the grocery store. And since they're all under $10, they're a real bargain.
Some concealers even contain acne-fighting ingredients, to help heal pimples too. But if you are currently using any topical acne treatments, use medicated concealers with care. Watch for dryness, peeling, flaking or skin irritation. Scale back use or switch to a non-medicated brand.
Try Revlon ColorStay Blemish Concealer
A medicated concealer, it contains 0.5% salicylic acid. It shouldn't be used in place of an acne treatment, but for that zit that is just crying out for coverage, this concealer can do the trick while helping the blemish to heal. It stayed in place all day, too.How do I get rid of pimples and acne scars fast?
The best way to get rid of acne, pimples, zits, etc. is to make sure you wash your hands as much as possible. The germs and bacteria on your hands get onto your face anytime when you are brushing your hair, touching your face, eating, or anything else. The cleaner your hands are, the cleaner your face will be.
Also, remember to wash your face with a warm cloth every morning. This ensures that you have a fresh, new layer of skin and the pimples, zits and acne will go away much sooner with a cleaner, top layer of skin since you're washing away all the bacteria, germs, and dirt from the top layer of the skin.
If you make sure to do this every day, your acne and pimples will definitely go away.
I have been rinsing my hands more with water lately (basically within the last month) and I've noticed a dramastic change in the way my facial skin looks. I barely have any acne anymore, my skin feels cleaner, and I feel fantastic knowing that I look great!
Give this a shot, and your acne problems should be gone for good. Just don't forget to wash your face and hands everyday.
Toothpaste made it worse because it's pulling everything out. I would honestly suggest popping it to get all of the stuff out them immediatly wash your face and put some kind of topical medicne on it. If you can get ahold of it quick, (ie: mall) get the proactive mask. It;s made with sulfur which will take all the redness out and dry it up quickly. Make sure you start using something everyday so you can avoid big flare ups. Proactiv three step program works really well if you use it everyday! Good luck!
Drink lots of water and try not to stress too much about it as stress if known to make acne worse. Also acne goes away pretty fast when you know how to get rid of body toxins. I used this method and has been acne free since then http://acnefreein3days.net-reviews.info You can try it if you like.
Good Luck
the best thing for infected acne is to use eye drops, it reduces infection.
and for scars, use vitamin e capsules, pop it and apply the oil on it. ( it will not infect it because the oil is good oil not the same as the oil that caused the pimple).
DO NOT, AND I MEAN DO NOT, USE SCRUBS OR ANYTHING AGGRESSIVE ON IT AT THIS STAGE BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE IT 10 TIMES WORSE.
i guarantee you my method will work wonders.
What always helps me is washing my face before I go to sleep. And I have kinda long hair so I get acne on my forehead too, so I try and keep it out of my face when I sleep. I havn't quite figured out a good way to do that but I've been told it helps.
And as for perscription medication, I just started that about a week ago and I'm already seeing my face and back clear up.
Good luck to you =D
if your that concerned.. theres a new tool on the market called zeno which makes pimples go away faster but its 100 dollars..
The only and best thing to do is to just leave your face alone so that you dont scar your face..
LEAVE YOUR SKIN, FACE, PIMPLES, AND ANYTHING ALONE AND ABSOLUTLY DO NOT TOUCH, PICK, POKE, POP, OR SQUEEZE, EVER..
you need to go to a dermatologist and have them prescribe you with medicine
ask your dermatologist for Tazorac. It is the best prescribed acne medicine I know of. It works really well and quicker than anything else i've used. However, it might get worse before it gets better. However, mine only went worse went i went on a pimple popping spree. Trust me it works
Make a paste from cucumber and lemon juice and apply on the face. Wait until the paste dries and wash your face.
Try a sugar scrub. (Just wet your face and use sugar as an exfoliant.)
Or...
Open your pores by steaming your face and use toner.
Scars are impossible to get rid of ';fast.';
Calamine lotion has a drying effect so you can apply it overnight and wash the next day to get rid of acne/pimples and scars. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
Ask a doctor, i did and they gave me a prescription medicine and it worked great. :-)
If you want a short term treatment then try Toothpaste but if u want a good long term thing try Roaccutan.

Hey
When you want to get rid of your acne you must know that one of the most important things, before getting any product against acne, is to know how to cleanse your skin. The skin is on duty protecting you 24 hours per day and keeping infections out. It is the first line of defense against attacks on your health. This is why it is so important to take care of your skin and make sure you are helping it do its important job. By keeping your skin clean and healthy today you also prevent problems such as wrinkles or skin cancer tomorrow.
Here is a list of simple tips for daily hygiene that can help you to get rid of your acne:
Use mild soap
Don't buy harsh cleansers that are made of strong chemicals. These can dissolve your skin's natural proteins and oils, thus doing more harm than good. Cleansing products supposed to be as chemical-free as possible. Do not even think to use deodorant soaps on your face! They are made of strong chemicals and also leave a detergent film behind. This protective layer will actually irritate your skin and clog your pores.
Use lukewarm water
The water used on your face should always be lukewarm. If you make it too hot, you will dehydrate your skin, making it more prone to damage. You may also scald or even burn your skin. If the water is, the water will dry your skin.
Be gentle
Many people think they ought to scrub their skin raw, but this is one of the things to avoid. You should instead be careful not to damage or tear your skin. Exfoliation is good because it will help remove dead skin cells, but be careful and so you will not hurt yourself.
Toning is fine
Toning helps keep the skin clear and firm, which is good. The best toners around are those containing alpha hydroxy acids and glycolic. Avoid those made with alcohol and those that are marked photosensitive.
Moisturize your skin
Moisturizers work by preventing the loss of water. They either draw moisture to the outer layer of the skin, or coat the skin's surface with a film of substance, thus sealing moisture into the skin. The best substances for an intensive moisture treatment are pure vitamin E, or Aloe Vera oil. The oil is available in liquid form. You can also break open a capsule and apply the oil directly to the skin. This is a wonderful treatment for the sensitive skin under the eyes. This part of your face is one of the first to show signs of aging because it secretes none of the oils that keep skin supple and firm.
These are 5 easy steps to eliminate or lessen your problem. You can find a lot more tips, information and reviews about the best products against acne in the market in the useful website www.my-acne-solution.info
Don't give up, acne is something that can be cure, good luck...
Hi Hapi,
The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.
Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.
Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.
Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.
Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

There is no quick fix for curing acne. It's unlikely that your pimple will simply go away (especially if you've been irritating it), so it's important that you understand the nature of acne to begin with. Remember that there are several types of pimple, and several types of pimple scar, and so homemade remedies, whilst they may be effective for a short time, won't usually work all the time, and damage your skin.
To prevent acne:
1. Wash and cleanse your face at least twice daily with mild soap and astringent (you'll want to find something with salicylic acid; avoid strong benzoyl peroxide, as that will harm your skin and possibly cause more acne).
2. Avoid touching your face. A type acne is caused by bacteria on the skin, so try and keep materials (hands/clothes/hair) from touching and possibly contaminating areas prone to breakout.
3. Sleep. Sleep rejuvenates the skin and improves overall health. It seems simple, but most people neglect sleep ritually.
4. Drink water. Water is possibly one of the strongest acne deterrents. Water transports toxins out of the body, and the water you drink is very much accountable for skin health.
To fade/get rid of acne scars:
Acne scars are a tricky thing--the most common types are pock marks and hyperpigmented blotches. Both are healed in the same fashion however.
1. Drink water and take vitamin supplements. Again, water is responsible for renewing the skin, and vitamins work in order to heal skin, replacing the pimple-damaged surface. You can't realize how important water is. You do need at least 8 cups a day. Increasing your water intake only will yield results in as little as 1-2 month(s).
2. Sleep. Again, very important. Sleep renews the skin.
3. Exfoliate. After washing, apply vitamin-E and shea butter rich lotions. This lifts the dead skin cells and fades away existing damage. There are also serums/lotions for topical use that can speed this process.
4. Eat well. This goes without saying. To prevent pimples and scars and all a manner of health problems, make sure you've got a balanced diet.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
