I have very light skin and need something to hide my acne scars particularly. what's the best product? What concealer do you recommend to hide ance and scars?
M.A.C concealers.
The best thing ever is M.A.C full coverage in a compact because it gives FULL coverage even though it's a foundation. What concealer do you recommend to hide ance and scars?
Any clinique one they are pore-less and always come out 100%! i wouldnt recommend using powder foundation for acne scars because they dont always work come out streaky and fall off it you dont apply properly. hope i helped :D x
I recommend Lancome concealer, it covers everything and is virtually unnoticeable!
I have HORRIBLE acne scars. I'm brown skinned and my acne scars are about 4 shades darker so it looks like I have black spots all over my face. For about 2 years I used Mineral Makeup but it would only make my skin look ashy. I switched to MAC and I am in love love love. Their concealers are awesome and they cover everything up. You can use a mineral makeup over the concealer if you don't want a heavy feeling but honestly I only use their concealer and powder and it looks like I have flawless skin. I swear. I could sing about them all day.
So take it from me. I'm 24, I've had acne and still have it since I was 13. This isn't something I've been dealing with for one day. I have scars on my face from age 13 and when I walk out my house with my makeup on It looks like I stepped out of a magazine. The colour matches PERFECTLY with my skin and for a black girl that's kinda hard to find so if you're white you know it will match for sure. best of luck with whatever you choose.
any mineral concealer works well or try mac concealer that matches your skin tone:)
I am partial to this kind of question - please keep the responses coming.
Neutrogena mineral make up works really good and also conditions your skin making it healthier. Its good to read the reviews on walgreens.com from actual customers
Revlon ColorStay. The ones in the tube or glass bottle both work equally as well. There are color preparations 1-10 for the tubes, and the glass bottles ones are marked slightly differently. I personally use a number 7 or 8, but I am pretty tan. What I like about it is this makeup is difficult to tell that you are even wearing in most lighting. Be sure you do not get too dark a color, or you will have an orange appearance. I am a guy who has been struggling with acne scars for the better part of my life and unfortunately have to rely on makeup to make my face bearable to others, especially if i ever hope to obtain a job. So a concealer that is hard to notice goes a long way for me.
This stuff goes a long way for scars, however bumpy acne it can only do so much to cover up. But ya the one in the tube is labeled Revlon ColorStay Active Light Makeup SPF 25, with the shade number underneath. The glass one is labeled Revlon ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 Combination/Oily Skin w/ the shade number underneath.
Hope this answer helps.
